Senior
consultants (full time position) are responsible for the delivery of professional services to customers and partners.
These high energy, results-oriented professionals (to be located in Boston, Atlanta, Chicago and New York) will work closely with services management, sales management, product management, support, and product
development.
Position responsibilities
These
positions are responsible for the delivery of post-sales services to obtain excellent customer satisfaction and account referability
in the following areas:

Architecture and design
·
Solution implementation
·
Training course delivery
·
Technical account management
·
Project management
·
Services scoping and costing.
Position duties
·
Deliver software management, security
patch management and windows deployment services conforming to company implementation guidelines
· Formulate customer proposals for services delivery that meet customer business needs
· Transition customer accounts to our support organization for effective on-going support management of
accounts
· Liaising with product management, champion customers' needs for product improvements
· Build services business by developing customer relationships and obtain additional consulting assignments
out of existing accounts
· Assist in testing new products and provide timely feedback to product management and product development
· Assist the training development program by creating and reviewing course material
· Mentor consultants and share experiences with our technical staff, Customers and Partners
· Submit customer incident details in problem management system and centralize documents on-line
· Hold regular customer review meetings with assigned customer accounts
· Assist the Sales organization in pre-sales consulting when required.
Qualifications and experience
·
B.S. or M.S. degree in computer
science, engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
· MCSE or MCP Certification in either Windows 2000 or Windows XP
· ITIL Certification a plus
· MUST have 5+ years minimum consulting experience in software management related discipline
· MUST have specific experience in Windows deployment/migration project(s), specifically in the rollout
of operating systems
· Experience in training course delivery and public speaking
· Experience in architecting and design of complex enterprise solutions
· Experience in formulating customer proposals.
Knowledge and skills
·
MUST have systems administration
experience on Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 95/98/ME. Unix and Macintosh knowledge a plus
· MUST have administration experience with Windows 2000/2003 Active Directory and Group Policy Management
· MUST have software management implementation skills with one of SMS, Altiris, Marimba, Novadigm, Tivoli or other related software management tool
· MUST have skills with imaging technologies, such as; GHOST, RIS, PowerQuest
· Experience in the following programming languages would be advantageous (C#, C, C++, Visual Basic, Java,
Java Script, Perl, Active Perl, CGI, HTML)
· Experience with Business Intelligence tools would be highly valued.
· Highly desirable to have application packaging experience with one of ManageSoft, InstallShield, MSI,
Wise or other related tool
· MUST have excellent presentation and communication skills
· Tremendous energy and enthusiasm for delivering services
· Ability to quickly learn new technologies and customer needs
· Demonstrated understanding of technical concepts and vocabulary
· High skill level with interpersonal communications including diplomacy in coordinating/leading project
efforts
· Extreme flexibility in working hours
· Must be willing to travel for extended periods (3-5
weeks) frequently
· Must have a high level of initiative and sound independent judgement
· Must have a disciplined and conscientious outlook, good planning and organizational skills.
